Description

The nose leads with fresh orchard fruits—green apple and pear—layered with the distillery's signature nutty undertones, a result of the cloudy wort and rapid mashing process that preserves heavier, cereal-forward compounds. On the palate, the small octave cask provides an intensive maturation, introducing waves of orange blossom honey, jasmine, and a touch of white grape sweetness that perfectly complements Auchroisk’s thick character. The finish is clean and surprisingly complex, leaving a lingering trail of soft baking spices and a light floral dryness from the 82 bottles drawn from Cask #806943A.
