Description

The nose leads with toasted almonds, crisp green apple, and a distinct waxy weight—a byproduct of the distillery's steeply angled lyne arms and rapid distillation that preserves those heavier, oily esters. On the palate, the first-fill bourbon influence is unmistakable, delivering a velvety wave of vanilla sponge and honeyed oats that quickly transitions into Inchgower’s signature spicy-salty bite. The finish is remarkably fresh and lingering, closing with notes of warm ginger, lemon zest, and a briny mineral character that reflects its home in the fishing town of Buckie. A total of 204 bottles were produced from Cask #812263.
