Description

Last time it was 6 years ago Chapter 7 released a single cask whisky from this Speyside distillery. Sherry wood can easily overwhelm the light, fruity and nutty Glenrothes distillate. This particular release, a finalist in Scottish Whisky Awards, was bottled after 14 years of maturation. The wood is in harmony with the spirit beautifully presenting the distillery character. Well-integrated, balanced sherry influence, smooth delivery. Walnuts, tangerine, honey, red fruits and oak. Mature and complex.

Did you have mixed impressions about Glenrothes? Time to try this bottling. According to Chapter 7 founder, Selim: “this is a good example of sherry wood not killing the DNA”
