Description

The nose offers an intriguing blend of green tea and fresh malt, which quickly gives way to the Tawny Port’s influence of redcurrants, dried cranberries, and a hint of sandalwood. On the palate, the oily texture—maintained by Teaninich’s modern mash filter system—is layered with notes of roasted hazelnuts, poached pears, and a delicate touch of cinnamon spice. The finish is medium-long and warming, closing with a balance of herbal freshness and the lingering, vinous sweetness of red fruits from the 251 bottles produced from Cask #708013J.
