Today, the distillery is famously overlooked by a scenic reservoir home to a permanent population of swans—the inspiration for the "Flora & Fauna" label—but this 2025 release from Brave New Spirits is far more untamed. The nose is an inviting bouquet of vanilla custard and freshly cut grass, while the use of Tennessee barrels—known for their intense charcoal filtration—brings a "heroic" depth of buttery flapjacks, stone fruits, and a touch of cinnamon spice to the palate.
