Whiskies of this age are rare — and this 34-year-old Mannochmore is nothing short of extraordinary. Matured in a single bourbon cask since 1990, it captures the quiet beauty of slow aging in its purest form.

Distilled on 14 February 1990 and bottled in 2024, this whisky has spent over three decades resting in a single bourbon barrel. What emerges is elegant, complex, and deeply expressive. The nose opens with tropical fruit, soft spice, bubblegum, and a malty sweetness. The palate reveals ripe fruit, honeyed oak, and that same playful sweetness wrapped in polished depth. The finish is medium-long, fruity, and gently spiced, with a soft fade of old oak.
Mannochmore Distillery, founded in 1971 and quietly nestled beside its older sibling Glenlossie in Speyside, is a hidden gem even among seasoned whisky drinkers. Known mainly for its role in blends, Mannochmore rarely appears as a single malt — making this long-aged, independently bottled expression all the more exceptional. One of its few previous solo releases, the famously divisive "Loch Dhu" of the 1990s, only adds to its mystique.
This release was awarded the Drambuster Festival Golden Dram 2024, affirming its standout status among long-aged whiskies.
Bottled at 44.7% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, this is not an everyday whisky — it’s a patient, quietly majestic Speyside dram that honours time, place, and rarity in every drop.
