Dailuaine — Gaelic for "green meadow" — sits near Charlestown-of-Aberlour and sends around 95% of its output straight into Johnnie Walker blends. The distillery's worm tubs, long fermentations, and downward-angled lyne arms produce a heavy, robust spirit built for complexity. Thirteen years in a Refill Sherry Butt have layered biscuit, raisins, and icing sugar on the nose, sweet oak and aniseed on the palate, with warm spiced sherry on the finish. Cask C25136, 56.8% ABV, non-chill filtered.
