The nose is a rich tapestry of charred tropical fruits, festive spices, and waxy lemon, accented by an intriguing hint of biltong (dried meat). On the palate, a wonderfully thick and dense mouthfeel delivers notes of beeswax, flamed orange peel, and red apples, rounded out by nutmeg and pecan. The finish is medium-long and warming, leaving a lingering impression of sherried fruit, crystallised ginger, and toasted oak. A total of 1006 bottles were produced for this release.
