Born from a live blending session, this unique expression is a complex marriage of five distinct casks: 2013 Teaninich (sherry octaves), 2013 Secret Campbeltown (refill barrel), 2015 Caol Ila (refill hogshead), 2010 Secret Speyside (first-fill sherry hogshead), and 2007 Auchroisk (refill sherry hogshead). The result is a layered profile that Ralfy describes as "sweeter/spicy phenolic," where maritime Caol Ila peat meets the syrupy ginger and soft plum notes of the sherry-matured Highland and Speyside malts. With its natural color and non-chill filtered presentation, this small-batch release offers a raw, textured experience that reflects Ralfy’s own "back-to-basics" philosophy. It is a rare opportunity to taste a dram curated by one of the industry's most influential independent voices, balancing saltiness, herbal mint, and a gentle chimney-peat smoke.
