Description

Distilled on 6 February 2012 at the Deanston Distillery, this 11-year-old expression was matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry barriques. Bottled at 50% ABV, it is presented without chill filtration or added colouring, preserving its natural character.

On the nose, it reveals aromas of barley sugar, biscuit, vanilla, and oak. The palate is sweet and inviting, featuring notes of vanilla, shortbread, and toasted barley. The finish is oaky-sweet with a lingering vanilla aftertaste.

Deanston Distillery, located in the Highland region of Scotland, is known for its traditional production methods and commitment to sustainability. Housed in a converted 18th-century cotton mill, the distillery harnesses the power of the River Teith for its operations, making it one of the few distilleries in Scotland to be self-sufficient in electricity. Deanston's whiskies are known for their waxy texture and rich flavour profiles.
