Distilled in 2012 and matured for thirteen years, this expression captures a more elegant side of Benrinnes, leading with a nose of fresh-cut grass and wildflower honey that belies its rich sherry finish. The palate is a delightful holiday spread of candied ginger and syrupy dried apricots, where the unctuous PX influence adds a velvety layer of golden sultanas without overshadowing the spirit's natural vibrancy. It concludes with a long, warming finish of crystallized citrus peel and a gentle, malty spice that lingers like the glow of a winter hearth. Drawn from a single barrique in 2025, this 302-bottle release is a beautifully composed "Silent Night" that trades the usual meaty brawn for a more refined, celebratory grace.
