Description

North Star Spirits’ Highland Connection is a blended malt that tips its hat to two standout components named on the label: an Ardnamurchan peated butt (filled in 2019, drawn in 2025) and a Highland Park refill hogshead. The result is a Highland-centric malt with a gentle thread of island smoke, where youthful verve meets mature depth. The label makes it clear: this is blended malt Scotch whisky, with the youngest component at 6 years, composed to evoke an old-world travel poster—“A Highland Journey from North Star Spirits.” Expect a meeting of peat-kissed coastal notes with bright Highland malt sweetness, the Ardnamurchan component lending subtle, earthy smoke while the refill-hogshead Highland Park adds honeyed malt and heathered complexity.
