NSS The Campbeltown Connection 2015

This whisky doesn't need marketing. It will sell out fast. North Star Spirits captured Campbeltown’s character by blending its two powerhouse distilleries — Springbank and Glen Scotia — and maybe something else. The youngest spirit in the vatting was distilled in 2015 and everything matured for around a decade before being bottled at its natural strength in 2025. The result marries classic Campbeltown traits: on the nose there’s caramelised grapefruit and fresh vanilla pods; the palate is salty and waxy, with a lick of peat adding heft; the finish lingers on warm citrus orange with a wee touch of paraffin. Non‑chill‑filtered and naturally coloured, this limited edition captures a slice of whisky history from a region whose output rarely leaves its own glens.
