Description

Prologue is Chapter 7’s small batch range, each release being around 3 to 15 casks. This release is a peated blend of exceptional quality. Carefully selected bourbon wood matured highland and Islay single malts were married to give an addictively smooth and balanced character which can be enjoyed by beginners and connoisseurs alike. 

As Chapter 7 Founder Selim said: “I wanted to create a peated blended malt that is so balanced and tasty that even people who aren't fans of peat would get hooked.” He was very successful with that. Gentle green fruits with elegant, unobtrusive peat and some salty notes. Soft infusion of creamy toffee and vanilla. Long and rich on the palate, evolving with cereal undertones and uplifting spice.

This is a serious whisky, nothing short of excellent. The IWSC Silver medal with 90 points confirms that.
