Description

The nose is remarkably fresh, leading with salted caramel, zesty lemon peel, and a hint of damp pine needles—a profile shaped by Jura's exceptionally tall, slender stills which encourage a high degree of reflux and a lighter spirit. On the palate, the texture is oily and nuanced, delivering layers of vanilla bean, toasted malt, and a delicate briny flicker that reflects its island home. The finish is clean and medium-long, closing with a gentle maritime breeze, soft oak spice, and a touch of roasted coffee from the 216 bottles drawn from Cask #90103955.
