Description

Miltonduff Distillery was founded in 1824 on the site of Pluscarden Abbey's former mill — drawing on the same water source the monks had relied on for centuries. Today owned by Pernod Ricard, it sends most of its spirit into Ballantine's blended Scotch. Eight years in a Bourbon Barrel have produced a creamy-sweet nose of barley sugar, coconut and vanilla; the palate brings sweet vanilla and coconut with fresh barley notes, balanced and rounded, the finish gentle with vanilla, oak and boiled sweets. EXP1091, 50% ABV, natural colour, non-chill filtered.
