Ben Nevis from the 90's? Anytime... Pure bourbon matured? Yes, please! This single cask Ben Nevis was distilled in 1998 and spent 25 years in bourbon hogshead to get bottled in 2023. Slightly waxy, dusty, oily and in the meantime sweet and fruity on the nose, and beeswax, dried fruits and chocolate with apple pie and cinnamon in the taste notes. Well, truly magnificient!
