Description

An honest and rich presentation of “the gentle dram” from the heart of Speyside. Tomintoul distillery represents the regional character very well with its smooth and well-balanced fruity whisky. This release got a first fill Bourbon cask finish which adds an extra layer of vanilla pudding to it.

Bottled at cask strength, an intense treat of pastry, cereals, vanilla, caramel and wood welcome you immediately. Fresh and sparkling citrus and apple complements them. This gourmet base is warmed by a peppery, slightly spicy development on the palate. The sweet and cereal finish is very long.

Whisky Is The Limit is often regarded as a wine cask finish brand. Here is the first Bourbon finish release of the bottler to show this is only partly true.
