Description

Distilled in 2010 and matured for fourteen years, this expression underwent a transformative finish in first-fill St. Emilion wine barriques, which have dyed the spirit with a deep, ruby-hued soul. The nose is a decadent affair of creamy vanilla and toasted coconut, soon giving way to a palate bursting with redcurrants, dark cherries, and a dusting of cocoa powder. It’s a thick, velvety dram that balances the buttery sweetness of the grains with a drying, tannic grip from the Bordeaux oak, finishing with a lingering whisper of cloves and wine-soaked oak. Only a limited number of these bottles were conjured from the darkness in 2025, making it a must-have for those who like their grain whisky with a sophisticated, vinous twist.
