Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2025 from a refill butt, this North Star Spirits release brings together mature malt and grain whiskies in seamless harmony. On the nose it’s instantly evocative — polished oak, old furniture, and the soft earthiness of dunnage warehouses. The palate delivers layers of dark chocolate, clove, nutmeg and chewy toffee, wrapped in the mellow sweetness that only long ageing can create. The finish is generous and lasting, a warm embrace of spice and oak — everything you hope for in a venerable old blend. Bottled at 44.2 % ABV, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, this limited edition shows just how elegant time can make a blend.
