Founded in 1988 by brothers Andrew and Brian Symington in Edinburgh, Signatory Vintage started with a visionary idea: bottling exceptional single-cask whiskies, beginning with a 1968 Glenlivet sherry cask. Andrew Symington soon took full control, relocating operations first to a dedicated bottling plant and, in 2002, acquiring the historic Edradour Distillery near Pitlochry in Perthshire, where the company now thrives.
